This annual event raises funds to ensure homelessness and hunger are prevented in the Frisco community. "During these challenging economic times, it is important that we continue to have a top-notch event that focuses attention on those in need or in crisis in our community" states Joni Klarin, FFS Development Director. "In a year when client numbers have increased more than 35% and we are anticipating serving more than 6000 individuals by year end, the support of our sponsors, donors, attendees, and volunteers is crucial." FFS is proud to announce the honor of having AmerisourceBergen Specialty Group as the title sponsor of this year's annual fundraising gala, Salsa Nights, to take place on Saturday April 17, 2010 at the newly renovated Dr Pepper Arena in Frisco. FFS anticipates welcoming more than 900 guests who will dress in their Latin themed and party attire and enjoy an evening of entertainment, friend-raising and fundraising to benefit those in need or in crisis in our community. Guests will dance the night away to the music of one of the top Dallas Party bands- Signed Sealed Delivered, enjoy sumptuous food from area restaurants, try their luck at the casino and have the opportunity to bid on an expansive array of silent auction items. The auctioneer, Craig Meier, and his spotters will orchestrate the always exciting live auction, giving guests the opportunity to bid on exceptional big-ticket items. Back again this year is an exclusive, luxury raffle for an opportunity to win a $10,000 Visa gift card or a 5 night vacation in Paris, France with a LeCordon Bleu cooking experience. Raffle tickets are $50 each and only 1500 tickets will be sold.
