It’s time to start thinking about fundraising again.  Unfortunately many of
the dogs and cats we rescue require medical care far exceeding our adoption fees
so we rely on fundraising and donations to keep our rescue group going.
We have two major fundraising events every year, Barktoberfest in October and a
Yard Sale in May. Advantage Storage on Legacy and Warren has been the home of
our Yard Sales for the past two years. They have been successful beyond our
wildest dreams.
The folks at Advantage are amazing and play an integral part of our fundraising
– they give their time tirelessly for Frisco Humane Society as well as
providing a venue for the community and their clients to donate unwanted items
to benefit homeless animals.
Mark your calendars now! Just in time for a good spring clean, we have set the
date for this year’s sale. The 2010 Yard Sale will be held on Friday, May 7th
and Saturday, May 8th.
March 1st thru May 3rd , please start taking your unwanted items to Advantage
Storage (on the corner of Legacy and Warren). The telephone number for Advantage
Storage is 972-334-9190 – just give them a call if you have any questions
about what can be donated.
