Frisco-Online: Allen Man Charged with Felony Theft Allen Man Charged with Felony Theft ================================================================================ Frisco Police Department on 21 July, 2010 02:30:00 FRISCO, TX – On Thursday, July 15, at around 12:16 p.m. officers with the Frisco Police Department arrested 53-year-old Steven Breed of Allen, Texas, after he was found to be in possession of stolen property from a residence in the 5000-block of Foard Drive in Frisco. Frisco detectives confirmed that Breed had entered the residence with a real estate agent after posing as a potential homebuyer. While walking through the house, Breed separated himself from the realtor and took numerous pieces of jewelry from the homeowners without their consent or knowledge. Police officers confronted Breed as he was leaving the residence and located the stolen property on his person. Breed was charged with Theft ($1,500–20,000), a State Jail Felony, which is punishable by no less than 180 days but no more than two years in a state jail, as well as a fine not to exceed $10,000. Breed was transferred to the Collin County Sheriff’s Office from the Frisco City Jail shortly after his arrest.
