Frisco-Online: One Person Arrested after Short Standoff One Person Arrested after Short Standoff ================================================================================ City of Frisco on 08 February, 2010 10:32:00 FRISCO, TX – On this date at approximately 2:51 p.m., officers with the Frisco Police Department’s Special Operations Unit (SOU) and negotiators were activated in response to a possible barricaded person at a residence in the 9300-block of Penton Place. Patrol officers had originally responded to the location earlier in the day after it was reported by the homeowner that an acquaintance had entered the residence uninvited. The homeowner stated that the subject was possibly armed. Negotiators were able to make contact with the subject, identified as 38-year-old Glenn Harvick, by telephone. Harvick eventually agreed to exit the residence and turn himself over to police. At approximately 4:32 p.m., Harvick was taken into custody without incident. No weapons were located on Harvick at the time of his arrest. Harvick is currently charged with an outstanding warrant out of Dallas County for Driving While Intoxicated (2nd Offense). Detectives with the Frisco Police Department are investigating and additional charges by this agency may be forthcoming on Harvick.
