Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band make a triumphant return to Dallas/Fort
Worth for one remarkable performance and tailgate party at Pizza Hut Park on
Saturday, May 22 at 7:30 p.m. as part of Jimmy Buffett’s “Under The Big
Top” Tour 2010. John Wagner, President of Hunt Sports Group said, “It’s
exciting to haveJimmy Buffett’s spectacular show and Caribbean vibe at Pizza
Hut Park for thefourth consecutive year and Dallas can’t wait to welcome him
back.”
Tickets go on sale Monday, February 22nd at 10 AM. There is an eight ticket

Jimmy’s latest album, Buffet Hotel (one t), was released in December. The
Title cut has a strong West African influence and was conceived during a trip to
the “Festival In The Desert,” a music festival that takes place annually
near Timbuktu,Mali. “It was one of the best musical experiences of my life,”
said Jimmy. It was there that Jimmy ran across the Buffet Hotel, an old colonial
era train station/hotel which was the venue for the music scene that exploded in
Mali after its independence in 1960. The album also includes the first surf song
Jimmy has ever written, “Surfin’ In A Hurricane.”
Upcoming for Jimmy is Encores, a new live acoustic CD which will be comprised of
the intimate final encore songs at the end of each concert, many solo, and some
with band members or special guests. It will be a unique collection unlike
anything he has released before. Encores is scheduled for an April 2010 release.
