Design an 8.5” x 11” advertisement to increase hand-washing practices in young children, and your artwork could be turned into a poster distributed in schools across the county. Here are the contest guidelines: The theme of the artwork should be the benefits or reasons to wash your hands or how to properly wash your hands. The artwork should appeal to elementary age children. *All entries must be postmarked no later than May 27, 2011; *Winners will be notified June 22, 2011; *Open to Collin County High School Students from 9-12th grade; *Artwork must be no larger than 8.5”x 11”; *Artist’s name, school, grade and phone number should be included on a separate sheet with the submission. *Multiple entries per person will be considered; *Submission must be original artwork; and, *Winning entries will become the property of Collin County to use in a public awareness campaign and may be reproduced.
