Kick off your rain boots, put on your golf shoes Charity Golf Tournament tomorrow
Frisco, Texas (May 31, 2012) - The SoupMobile will host its 3rd annual Charity Golf Tournament on Friday, June 1, 2012 at Frisco Lakes Golf Club, 7170 Anthem Drive in Frisco.
The Soupmobile is a 501(c)(3) Christian based organization that feeds and shelters the homeless of Dallas. It started in August of 2003, with one van serving over 5,000 meals and grew to over 35,000 meals by 2004 and now serves over 200,000 people annually. The organization has just funded its 3rd group home, giving it the ability to offer a "hand up" for those homeless who need a boost to get ahead.
The festivities will begin at noon Friday with the Soup Man's tee-off luncheon where guests will have a chance to mix and mingle with those participating in the tournament. Many gifts, including Is God on Vacation?, written by David Timothy, aka The Soup Man, will be provided to all participants.
The tournament will kick-off at Frisco Lakes Golf Club with a shotgun start at 1:00 PM. The cost is $100 per individual player, $400 for a foursome team, all proceeds benefit the SoupMobile. Registration is still open.
