Frisco Police Investigate Fatality Accident

(July 17, 2009) Frisco Police and Frisco Fire units responded to an accident at US 380 and Dallas Parkway today at 8:57 a.m. A green 1999 Honda SUV driven by Kavari Gael Gray (30 YOA)of the Savannah subdivision was traveling eastbound on US 380 and collided with a blue 2003 Dodge pickup driven by Jose Hernandez of Plano (30 YOA).

The pickup was traveling westbound on US 380. The Honda was occupied by Gray and her two children, a 4 year old son and an infant daughter. Gray and her 4 YOA son died from their injuries. The daughter is in critical condition and is being treated at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas.

Traffic investigators have determined that both eastbound and westbound directions had a green light and that Gray failed to yield the right of way as she turned left into the path of the pickup.
