New Traffic Signal on Teel Parkway At Purefoy Elementary

(August 19, 2010) A new traffic signal on Teel Parkway at Purefoy Elementary, just south of Eldorado Parkway, will be activated in the flashing mode on Friday, August 20.  While in the flashing mode, traffic on Teel Parkway will not have to stop at the flashing yellow light; however, traffic coming out of the new elementary school will have to stop at the flashing red light and yield to traffic on Teel Parkway.

The signal will become fully operational on Monday, August 23.  However, each night and over the weekend, the traffic signal will return to the flashing mode so that Teel Parkway does not have to stop.

Motorists are urged to use caution at this intersection as people become accustomed to the new traffic control patterns.
