DNT Between Gaylord Pkwy-Headquarters Drive to Close Starting 9 PM June 24 Through 5 AM June 27

(June 23, 2011) The main lanes of the Dallas North Tollway (DNT) will be closed in both directions between Gaylord Parkway and Headquarters Drive this weekend. The Tollway section will close at
9:00 p.m. Friday night, June 24, and remain closed through 5 a.m., Monday morning, June 27.

During this closure, all traffic on northbound and southbound DNT will be diverted onto the Dallas Parkway frontage roads and must pass through several traffic signals before re-entering the Tollway. Motorists will experience delays in both directions on Dallas Parkway between Warren Parkway in Frisco and Legacy Drive in Plano throughout the weekend. Therefore, motorists are urged to use an alternate route such as Legacy Drive, Parkwood Boulevard, or Preston Road.

These road closures are part of NTTAs interchange construction project. Motorists are urged to use caution and choose alternate routes in advance.
