Old Newman Rd. to Close Sunday Night, May 20

(May 18, 2012) Old Newman Road will be closed at FM 423 Sunday night, May 20, so that TxDOT can pave the intersection. Old Newman Road will close just east of FM 423 at 7:00 p.m. Sunday night, May 20, and will reopen by 6:30 a.m. Monday morning, May 21.

During the road closure, residents of the Windsor Place and Waterford Falls neighborhoods will not be able to use Old Neman Road to go to and from FM 423. Instead, these residents will need to use Main Street to reach FM 423.

Motorists are urged to use caution in the construction zone and to choose an alternate route in advance.
