Northbound DNT closed Sunday morning, June 10; Southbound DNT entrance ramps closed all day Sunday

(June 8, 2012) Various ramps and main lanes of the Dallas North Tollway (DNT) will be closed at different times on Sunday, June 10.  The details of each closure are described below:

The northbound main lanes of the Dallas North Tollway will be closed between Gaylord Parkway and Lebanon Road between 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.  Traffic on the northbound DNT will be diverted onto the northbound Dallas Parkway frontage road south of Gaylord Parkway. Traffic will be able to re-enter the DNT south of Lebanon Road.  Northbound motorists should expect delays during this time.

Several entrance ramps to the southbound Dallas North Tollway will be closed between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m.  These include the southbound entrance ramps south of Lebanon Road, south of Gaylord Parkway, and south of SH 121.  During these closures, the last opportunity to enter the southbound DNT in Frisco will be the entrance ramp just south of Stonebrook Parkway. Otherwise, motorists will need to stay on the southbound Dallas Parkway frontage road and then enter the DNT south of Legacy Drive in Plano.

Motorists are urged to use caution in the construction zones and to choose an alternate route in advance.
