Multiple Road Closures Planned July 2 – July 4 for Frisco Freedom Fest

Frisco Freedom Fest happening on Wednesday, July 4, is a fun, family-friendly festival beginning 4 p.m. at Simpson Plaza in Frisco Square. FC Dallas Stadium will feature a MLS soccer game between FC Dallas and Toronto FC beginning at 8 p.m. The Fireworks Extravaganza will follow the soccer game at approximately 10 p.m. 

The event will require the closure of several streets in Frisco Square beginning 5pm today, July 2 through July 3, with additional road closures on the day of the event, July 4.  The successive roadway closures are described at this link… view the press release.

 The end of the fireworks show will create heavy traffic loads that will necessitate the temporary closure of some major roadways around Frisco Square and FC Dallas Stadium to help facilitate traffic leaving the area.  View map showing exit routes after fireworks
