Arts in the Square Announces Winners

Frisco, Texas (March 10, 2010) – Frisco Square announced the Best of Show and Jurors Choice award winners from last weekend’s Arts in the Square event.

Best of Show: Josh Trefethen, Keller, TX for his fine art photography.

Jurors Choice: Niki Gulley, Dallas, TX for her landscapes in acrylics and oil

Arts in the Square featured more than 100 artists from fourteen states, entertainment headlined by The Romantics and bands from the School of Rock as well as other local performers and a kids area including Frisco’s own Abrakadoodle and Bounce for Fun.  Storytellers, face painters and dancers from NextStep Performing Arts all performed.

Arts in the Square benefited the Frisco Association for the Arts. Participants included Arts of Collin County; Chamberlain Performing Arts; Lone Star Story Telling; the Visual Arts Guild of Frisco; Frisco Public Arts Program; Frisco Association for the Arts and Word of Mouth Productions.
