Summer Sauté: Dance Nights at the Frisco Discovery Center, June 2012
FRISCO, TX (May 24, 2012) – Join us every Wednesday evening in June from 7-10 p.m. in the Black Box Theater at the Frisco Discovery Center, for “Summer Sauté,” a social dance night open to adults. Frisco Arts is partnering with professional dance instructor David Conner to bring this fun opportunity to dance enthusiasts of all skill levels.
Mr. Conner will provide dance instruction from 7-8 p.m. and host the open dance in the theater from 8-10PM. On June 6, the event will be free. Thereafter, the cover charge will be $15 per person, per session. This covers the dance lesson and open dancing until 10 p.m. Concessions will be available.
David Conner is a native Texan, dancer, singer, actor, choreographer and instructor. He received his B.F.A. from Texas Christian University, majoring in Ballet and Modern Dance and Radio/TV/Film. He works with students of all ages in Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, Ballroom and Latin styles of dancing. David and his wife, Tami, are five time Professional United States Champions in the American Rhythm Style of Ballroom Dancing. He teaches locally and is available for lessons by calling 214-208-4770.
