Frisco ISD and Frisco Education Foundation have teamed up with From My Mama’s Kitchen® to bring to Frisco this specially designed summer camp for high school students. The camp is scheduled for Tuesday July 17th, Wednesday July 18th and Thursday 19th. It will be held at the Frisco Discovery Center, 8004 N. Dallas Parkway, Ste. 200, Frisco.

Three days of fun-filled activities to make your teen the star of their next prom, the perfect date, and prepared for college and beyond. An inspirational and motivational summer camp for high schoolers. Campers will learn leadership and practical living skills:

•  Confidence and clarity in setting personal goals.

•  Physical fitness by Camp Gladiator.

•  Acquisition of good manners and etiquette.

•  Financial planning and money management.

•  College preparatory strategies.

•  Introduction to cotillion ballroom dancing.

According to Johnny Tan, the founder of From My Mama’s Kitchen® concept, from 15 to 24 years of age a young man or woman will be living the most exciting years of his or her life. The values, principles, behavior, personal habits, and the cognitive skills developed during these years will determine his or her road map to life.

At Teen Leadership Academy, Johnny and his select expert presenters aim to teach and equip teens with practical strategies applicable in every situation. Johnny believes personal success begins at home. When a child is given the right knowledge at the right time, he or she is equipped to grow to a higher state of self-actualization.
