Parks & Recreation Month Activities For This Week - Get Out And Get Involved!

We want you to show us how "WILD" you are about Parks & Recreation! We've made it easy for you to get involved with our calendar of simple daily activities that will have you exploring the recreation opportunities around you in our parks and facilities. Here's a look at the activities for this week!

 

Monday, July 9 - Toss a Frisbee in the park


Tuesday, July 10 - Test your batting skills in the
batting cages at Harold Bacchus Community Park. Open 5 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

 

Wednesday, July 11 - "Have Fun, Get Wild!" Parks & Recreation staff will be looking for people having fun in our parks and facilities. If we spot you having fun, we'll reward you with a t-shirt and a bag of goodies!  Get out and have some fun. We'll be looking for you!

Thursday, July 12 - Be a kid again! Roll down the hill at
Preston Ridge Park. (Regularly scheduled Fitness in the Square has been cancelled.)

 

Friday, July 13 - Dive-in Movie Night (adults 18+ only) at the Frisco Athletic Center Outdoor Aquatic Center featuring the movie "Jaws." There will be free childcare for children 8 weeks to 7 years available in the Fun Club and Zone for FAC members. Childcare is available for non-members for $5 per child. Space is limited so reservations should be made early by calling 972-292-6600

 

Saturday, July 14 - Free Boot Camp Class at the Frisco Athletic Center, 7 a.m. - 8 a.m., Instructor Juliet Kadleck. Meet outside the FAC by the entrance to the pond.  Bring weights and a mat if you have them.

 

Sunday, July 15 - Explore one of our 34 parks you have never visited
