We want you to show us how "WILD" you are about Parks & Recreation! We've made it easy for you to get involved with our calendar of simple daily activities that will have you exploring the recreation opportunities around you in our parks and facilities. Here's a look at the activities for this week!

Monday, July 16 - Take a walk on the "Wild Side." Plan a one mile walk, run or bike ride on one of our trails.

Tuesday, July 17 - Try a new sport or outdoor game.

Wednesday, July 18 - "Have Fun, Get Wild!" Parks & Recreation staff will be looking for people having fun in our parks and facilities. If we spot you having fun, we'll reward you with a t-shirt and a bag of goodies!  Get out and have some fun. We'll be looking for you!

Thursday, July 19 - Take pictures with the statues at Central Park or have the kids perform in the amphitheater.

Friday, July 20 - "Wet and Wild Day!" Everyone pays kids price admission to the Frisco Athletic Center.

Saturday, July 21 - Bring paper and a pencil or crayons to Limestone Quarry Park and let the kids trace and draw the different leaves and plants at the educational stations. Kids can place a piece of paper over a mold a the different stations and then rub a pencil or crayon over it. They can then take their picture and try to locate the plant or leaf within the park.

Sunday, July 22 - Take a kid fishing. Ponds are stocked at Warren Sports Complex, Frisco Commons, Harold Bacchus Community Park and Beavers Bend Park. Anyone 17 and older must have a fishing license.
