The Frisco Number Ones Gala is a new name for the event formerly known as the Annual Awards Celebration. The theme this year is “The Sky’s the Limit” and will be held at the Embassy Suites, Dallas-Frisco Hotel, Conference Center & Spa, at 7600 John Q. Hammons Drive in Frisco, Texas.
The fun-filled evening will begin at 6:00 PM and will include a silent auction and raffles, an elegant multi-course dinner, an awards ceremony and a celebratory after-party with over 700 of Frisco’s most influential business and community leaders! The after-party, a place to celebrate the award winners as well as the successes of business community as a whole, will include a band and lounge area,
“Our business community is number one in so many ways,” said Tony Felker, President and CEO of the Frisco Chamber of Commerce. “With the record number of nominations received this year, the nominating committee had a difficult task in narrowing down the finalists.”
Silent auction and raffle items are donated by businesses and often include unique items. Last year’s top silent auction items included a rare, pink Frisco Firefighter’s helmet, a reception for 20 at Capital Grille, a 20-person suite at a Roughriders game, and an embroidered and framed Texas flag, to name a few. Raffle tickets will be sold before and during the event for “Stock the Bar” and the newest raffle, “Stock the Closet,” which will be sponsored by Nordstrom and Stonebriar Centre.
“We look forward to seeing everyone on February 3rd for an exciting night that not only honors Frisco’s enterprising citizens, but provides a fun atmosphere for attendees to support the city’s ever-growing commerce outside of a boardroom setting,” shared Whitney Brandon Faulkner, Gala Committee Chair. “Mix and mingle with neighbors new and old. Enjoy great food, drinks and music. Bid on silent auction items or try your luck on a variety of raffle items. ‘The Sky’s the Limit’ in Frisco and we hope you will join us in celebrating Frisco’s success!”
