Inspiring youth across the nation and beyond to pick up an instrument and find their passion – that’s what NOT UR GIRLFRENZ is all about. And they’re not even teenagers yet. Along the way, this Dallas-based, all-girl preteen power trio is making waves in the local market with their high-energy shows, award-winning performances and an ever-growing base of loyal fans, a.k.a. “The Frenzone”.

In a thrilling victory over bands 3 times their age (and more), NOT UR GIRLFRENZ was just crowned 2017-2018 “Battle of the Legends” Champions in a summer-long music competition sponsored and  hosted by Dallas’ new premiere music venue, Lava Cantina. Besting adult bands who have been performing professionally for longer than they have been alive, and captivating audiences with their combination of youthful energy and musical prowess. The contest’s celebrity judges were clearly won over by the girls’ performance and command of Lava Cantina’s sizeable main stage, describing their show in August 16th’s contest finals as “bringing the house down” (Tre Nagella, Grammy-winning producer), “incredible and insane” (Robin Jones, founder of Radio Disney), and “true rock stars in the making” by Lava Cantina owner Ian Vaughn.
NOT UR GIRLFRENZ first caught the attention of industry executives from L.A. with their debut cover of the Led Zeppelin classic “Rock ‘n Roll”. Liv Haynes (12) is a tour de force on guitar and lead vocals, Maren Alford (12) beats the drums like they owe her big money, and Gigi Haynes (11) keeps it sick and steady on bass.  Influenced by rock greats like Foo Fighters, Heart, Green Day, Paramore and Led Zeppelin, NOT UR GIRLFRENZ rocks iconic classics, soon-to-be-classics, and their own brand of original rock.

Current projects are being produced by Jaret Reddick, Grammy-nominee and seller of over a million albums as front man for pop punk band Bowling for Soup. “I have seen it all, but I never expected to be so blown away when my friend John took me to meet NOT UR GIRLFRENZ” says Reddick. “First things first – DO NOT have a preconceived idea of this band because of their age. NOT UR GIRLFRENZ ROCKS! I mean, these girls can play! Live and in the studio, they continue to impress me. Watch out world – they are coming for you!”

NOT UR GIRLFRENZ is also featured in the 2017 Reliant Energy “Girl Power” ad campaign with VO by fellow Texan Matthew McConaughey.
