Frisco Fire Department Deploys To Support Hurricane Harvey Operations

(August 24, 2017) The Frisco Fire Department has deployed multiple personnel in support of operations in South Texas as the State prepares for Hurricane Harvey.

At 11:00 AM two members of the department were deployed to College Station in support of Texas Taskforce 1. These members will support rescue operations. One . additional member is still on standby if needed.

At 4:30 PM the department has a request for an ambulance to join a strike team from north Texas. The department has deployed an ambulance with two paramedics to rendezvous with other ambulances from the area.

The department also has an additional specialty unit that is on standby for deployment as needed.
