Frisco, TX – Peak Sports MGMT is proud to announce the Frisco College Baseball Classic presented by Baylor Scott & White Sports Therapy & Research at the STAR will be back in Frisco March 2-4, 2018.  The Frisco College Baseball Classic continues to aim its sights on being the finest collegiate baseball tournament outside of the College World Series in Omaha.

The 2018 Frisco Classic will again feature four of the country’s top teams spanning three days of play at Dr Pepper Ballpark in Frisco, TX home of the Frisco RoughRiders.  The weekend tournament will have two games per day with each team playing the other three times in a round robin format. The four teams for the 2nd annual tournament played March 2-4, 2018 will consist of the Baylor Bears, Cal – Berkeley Golden Bears, Texas A&M Aggies, and coming in as a late addition to round out the field is the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs.

Among these four teams there are over 9,000 wins, over 650 MLB draft picks, 70 NCAA post-season appearances, 58 conference titles, 15 College World Series appearances and 2 National Championships.  It is the goal of the Frisco Classic to continuously bring in tradition rich programs in order to provide unparalleled entertainment and competition for the both the fans and athletes.  Peak Sports MGMT is currently contracted to host the Frisco Classic at Dr Pepper Ballpark through March of 2019.

“Coming off the heals of a great 2017 Frisco Classic, we are excited to bring these tradition rich programs and their fan bases to Frisco, Texas”,  says Frisco Classic president, Ryan Holloway. “Several of these teams have spent time nationally ranked during the 2017 season and we expect all of them to make noise for the remainder of the year.  2018 can’t get here soon enough!”
