The Frisco Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce another sold-out event, the Business Behind Sports luncheon, which will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at 11:15 AM. The Business Behind Sports luncheon, sponsored by Baylor Scott & White Sports Therapy & Research at the Star, will be held at the new Omni Frisco Hotel.
Joe Trahan, Sports Anchor/Reporter-WFAA, will moderate at this event. The panelists include Jim Hinton, CEO of Baylor Scott & White Health, the largest not-for-profit health system in Texas; Jerry Jones, Jr., Executive Vice President and Chief Sales and Marketing Officer of the Dallas Cowboys; Donnie Nelson, Co-owner of the Texas Legends and President of Basketball Operations and General Manager of the Dallas Mavericks; and Jimmy Smith, COO/CFO of FCD Holdings, which operates FC Dallas, Toyota Stadium, and Toyota Soccer Center, FCD Youth, MoneyGram Soccer Park, and the National Soccer Hall of Fame Experience.
Questions for the panelists will include topics such as the economic impact of the sports venues beyond the sports teams, sports medicine as a major focus in Frisco, as well as the senergy that radiates from the sports entities in Frisco.
