Have you always wanted to help your children win in education, but don’t know how?

Join Frisco ISD for the Student and Parent Empowerment Program on Saturday, March 25 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Student Opportunity Center, 6928 Maple Street in Frisco. The workshop is free and open to all parents and students in grades K-12.

In the session, “There’s Power in the Struggle, Together,” families will discover and discuss innovative methods to improve students’ self-esteem and ownership of their success.

Parental engagement is key to building a stronger family dynamic that addresses respect and responsibilities in the home, while fostering greater achievement in the classroom. With the right tips and tools, parents and students will begin to see immediate and sustained growth.

Students and parents should participate in the program together. Please RSVP to Lisa Thomas-Vernon at vernonl@friscoisd.org if you plan to attend.
