Vandeventer Middle School hosted a Blue Light Luncheon on Friday, December 9, in the school cafeteria.

Frisco police officers enjoyed lunch with students at the grade-level lunch of their choice for conversation and relationship building. Frisco ISD Food Services provided lunch for visiting officers at no cost and the Vandeventer PTA provided drinks and desserts for  officers to enjoy.

“The lunch was an opportunity for students to get to know police officers on a personal level, and the event was a great way to say thanks to law enforcement for keeping the community safe and for supporting our youth,” said Vandeventer Principal Paige Hoes.
