Summer Immunization Clinics to Help Families Prepare for School Year

In General Interest by admin

Frisco ISD will host immunization clinics this summer to assist new and returning students who may be missing required vaccines for the 2017-2018 school year.

Clinics will be held July 10-13, 2017 at the Frisco ISD Early Childhood School, 10330 Red Cedar Drive. Hours vary depending on the day. See this link for details, including available vaccines and accepted insurance.

State law requires children to be immunized against certain vaccine-preventable diseases to attend school in Texas. Getting your child vaccinated protects your child’s health and that of the community.

Students cannot go to school without the appropriate documentation for the required vaccines or a valid medical or conscientious exemption. This is required in order to find out a student’s teacher at Elementary Meet the Teacher Night or to pick up his or her class schedule at secondary schools.

Parents should return new or updated immunization information along with proof of residency to ensure successful registration for the 2017-2018 school year.
