Frisco ISD and Curtsinger Elementary are committed to meeting the needs of the whole child – that means meeting each student’s physical, emotional and social needs, as well as their academic ones.

The school hosted its annual flag football tournament for grades 3-5 in October at Centennial High School. The “Tiny Titan Bowl” promotes exercise and healthy eating habits.

To reinforce the importance of making smart choices, the Curtsinger PTA sold healthy snacks during the tournament, raising more than $500 to donate to the Frisco Family Services food pantry.

Elementary students across FISD are currently participating in the Kids Teaching Kids 21-Day Challenge, a program sponsored by Medical City Children’s Hospital to encourage kids to eat more fruits and vegetables.
