Richwood Park ER & Urgent Care Supports FISD Classrooms

In School News by admin

If you visit Richwood Park ER 24-Hour Emergency and Urgent Care Center on Rolater Road in Frisco, you will see posters promoting healthy living habits adorning the walls – and you might know the artist.

Dr. John A. Cox and his wife Jodi invited students from nearby Gunstream and Curtsinger elementary schools to participate in a poster contest.

Students from eight different classes had their posters selected for display, and several of the students have come into the center for a photo with their poster.

The winning students’ teachers were also entered into a drawing. The selected teachers, Alyssa Hughes of Curtsinger Elementary and Lynn Greenfield of Gunstream Elementary, each won $500 to use in their classroom for supplies, books or technology needs. es_curtsinger_winningprincipal

Richwood Park ER & Urgent Care, a Frisco ISD Partner in Education, also works with students from the Career and Technical Education Center who are considering careers in nursing or other medical fields.
