June 14-21 Stand Thirsty Thursday, Fireworks, Pool Parties

FRISCO, Texas (June 13, 2017) – A Rougned Odor bobblehead giveaway on Friday, June 16 and Fathers’ Day celebration on Sunday, June 18 highlight a fun-filled eight-game homestand for the Frisco RoughRiders beginning Wednesday, June 14 and running through Wednesday, June 21 at Dr Pepper Ballpark.

The RoughRiders, the Double-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, face the San Antonio Missions (San Diego Padres) and Midland RockHounds (Oakland Athletics) in consecutive four-game series. The San Antonio series runs Wednesday-Saturday (June 14-17) and Midland comes to town SundayWednesday (June 18-21).

First pitch for each game for the first seven games of the homestand is 7:05 p.m. The homestand finale on June 21 is a 12:05 p.m. start.

The homestand opener June 14 is Weiner Wednesday presented by Texas Chili Company with $1 hot dogs for the entire game. Thirsty Thursday on June 15 follows with fans enjoying $1 domestic draft beers, $2 craft and import beers, $3 Stella Rosa wine and $1 Dr Pepper products from 6-8 p.m. The Choctaw Lazy River Pool Party is also Thursday, and for just $39 fans can float the river and enjoy an all-you-can-eat menu featuring hot dogs, brats, peanuts, chips and Dr Pepper products.

The first 1,500 fans through the Dr Pepper Ballpark gates Friday, June 16receive a free bobblehead of former RoughRiders standout and current Texas Rangers star Rougned Odor. Friday also includes Post-Game Fireworks presented by Fidelity Investments, Plano Investor Center with fans invited onto the field to enjoy the show.

Boy Scout Night is Saturday, June 17, with tickets for troops still available for the overnight sleepover at Dr Pepper Ballpark. The Post-Game Party features country singer/songwriter Brad Stinson.

The Father’s Day celebration Sunday, June 18 includes free RoughRiders Bow Ties for the first 1,000 men 18 and older through the gates. The Choctaw Lazy River Pool Party returns, and for just $39 fans can float the river and enjoy an all-you-can-eat menu. It’s also Kids Sunday Funday, with kids and their parents/guardians welcome to play catch on the field up to 35 minutes prior to first pitch and enjoy $1 ice cream sandwiches the entire game. Post-Game Fireworks presented by Krave follow the final out.

Kids Eat FREE Monday is up next on June 19, as each youngster (12 & under) receives a complimentary voucher for a hot dog, chips and a Dr Pepper product or water. Taco Tuesday is back June 20 with fans enjoying $2 tacos available all game long, along with select $3 beers and half-price margaritas from 6-8 p.m. Weiner Wednesday presented by Texas Chili Company concludes the homestand June 21 (12:05 p.m.) with $1 hot dogs for the entire game.

Gates for all home games open an hour before first pitch (90 minutes early for Founders Members).

About the Frisco RoughRiders

The Frisco RoughRiders are the Double-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers and play their games at beautiful Dr Pepper Ballpark in Frisco, Texas. The team was founded in 2003 and has finished first among all Double-A franchises in attendance in each of the last 12 seasons (2005-2016).
